- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pt. fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Cream the butter and 1/2 cup sugar.

2Add the egg, flour and baking powder.

3Put the raspberries in a 9-inch plate and sprinkle with the 1/2 cup sugar.

4Spread batter over the berries.

5Bake 40 minutes at 350°.

6Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

7May substitute the raspberries for strawberries, if desired.
