- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2/3 c. oatmeal
- 1 1/3 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. melted margarine
- 3/4 c. raspberry jam
Directions

1Sift flour, salt and soda together.

2Add brown sugar, oatmeal and pecans.

3Mix.

4Add margarine, blending with a fork.

5Press half of mixture into bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.

6Spread jam over mixture.

7Cover jam with remaining mixture.

8Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

9Cut into squares when cool.

10May be made a day ahead and left in refrigerator.
