- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. raspberry jam (per tart)
Directions

1Sift flour, sugar and salt into a bowl.

2Cut butter in with dry ingredients.

3Mix and mash until well mixed and crumbly.

4Add beaten egg and milk together.

5Mix with other ingredients thoroughly.

6Grease a cookie sheet.

7Make small balls about 2-inches big.

8Put them on the cookie sheet and flatten to 1/8-inch thick (should be about 4 to 5 inches in diameter).

9Drop 1 tablespoon jam on half the circle.

10Fold over other half to make a pocket.

11Crimp edges with a fork.

12Cook at 350° in a preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes.

13Makes about 10 tarts.
