  • 1 pod hot pepper
  • 4 red bell peppers
  • 12 medium onions
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 4 green bell peppers
  • 2 medium cabbage heads
  • 8 carrots
  • 3 qt. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Directions

    Grind all vegetables with food chopper.

    Add salt; let stand for 2 hours.

    Drain off liquid; let stand in colander until well drained.

    Mix vinegar, sugar and celery seed.

    Mix this with vegetables; pack in jars and seal.
