- 4 qt. cucumbers (not peeled)
- 3 fresh garlic buds
- 4 medium onions
- 1 sweet and 1 green pepper
- 3 c. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 5 c. sugar
Directions

1Slice vegetables and sprinkle with 1/3 cup salt; cover with crushed ice for 3 hours.

2Drain.

3Bring to a boil: vinegar, mustard seed and sugar.

4While still hot, pour over drained vegetables.

5Refrigerate.

6Do not can.

7I put these pickles in a gallon glass jar.

8They are nice and crisp and will keep up to one year in the refrigerator.
