- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 lb. chili meat
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. whole comino seed
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown onion and garlic in bacon drippings; add meat and cook until gray.

2Add tomato sauce, water and spices.

3Bring to boil and then allow to simmer for at least an hour.

4When done, add little flour until desired thickness is reached.

5When ready to serve, add pinto beans (cooked) or black-eyed peas or hominy. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
