  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. nut meats
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Cream butter or margarine.

    Add sugar, water and vanilla. Sift flour and salt.

    Add to butter mixture.

    Mix well.

    Add nuts. Roll into small balls and bake at 350° for 20 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.

    Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
