- 2 lb. pinto beans
- 2 large onions, diced
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. comino seed
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 cloves garlic or garlic powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can taco sauce
Directions

1Soak beans overnight in cold water.

2Drain and add fresh water to beans.

3Bring water level 2 inches above beans; add salt and cook over moderate heat for 1 hour.

4Add water as needed.

5Combine all other ingredients and add to beans.

6Cook over low heat until beans are done.

7You can cook all day in a crock-pot.
