  • 1 pkg. red beans or kidney beans
  • garlic salt
  • Morton's Natures Seasoning
  • Tony Chachere Creole seasoning
  • Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 lb. smoked link sausage, sliced very thin

Directions

    Wash beans, bring to boil and let soak 1 hour; drain.

    Add new water.

    Season with garlic salt, seasonings and hot sauce.

    Add onion.

    Cook on medium all day.

    Add water when needed.

    About 1 hour before serving, add sausage.

    Serve over rice, with cornbread.
