- 3 eggs
- 1 c. salad oil
- 3 (4 1/2 oz.) jars strained baby beets
- 2 sq. chocolate, melted
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream sugar and eggs.

2Add salad oil, blended with beets and melted chocolate.

3Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.

4Blend well; add vanilla.

5Bake in 2 (9-inch) layers or 1 (13 x 9 x 2-inch) pan at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
