- 4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1 pkg. sure-jell
- 1 1/2 c. apple juice
- 1 2/3 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. butter
Directions

1Mix onions, vinegar, juice, sage, and pepper.

2Stir in sure-jell and add butter on high heat until it comes to a full, rolling boil.

3Add sugar an bring to a rolling boil again for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
