- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
- 1 tsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy 3-quart saucepan; cook over low heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Continue to cook over medium heat about 10 minutes or until it reaches soft ball stage (234°).

2Add cinnamon candies.

3Continue cooking and stirring constantly until it reaches hard crack stage (300°).

4Remove from heat; stir in butter or margarine.

5Quickly pour into buttered 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan; cool.

6Break into small pieces.

7Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
