Refreshing Indian Lassi

  • 200 grams 1 to 2 fruits of your choice (see Hints)
  • 200 ml Yogurt
  • 100 ml Milk or water
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 Ice

    Prepare all the ingredients.

    If you are using mango, like I am here, remove the stone and cut into bite-sized pieces.

    Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend for about 2 minutes.

    The sweetness of fruit varies, so if it isn't sweet enough, add some sugar.

    Pour in glasses over ice, and it's done.

    You can keep the lassi in the refrigerator for a day or so.

    If you have some mint leaves use as garnish to make it look nicer.

    If you get some not so good mangoes, turn it into a puree as follows and make the lassi from that.

    Puree the mango in a food processor until smooth.

    Add 2 tablespoons of sugar.

    Put the puree in a small pan and bring to a boil.

    Simmer over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes, taking care not to let it burn on the bottom.

    Cool before using in Step 2.
