- 1 (9 inch) graham cracker crust
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 4 eggs, separated
- 12 cup lime juice
- 12 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 6 tablespoons sugar
Directions

1Whisk together condensed milk and egg yolks.

2Add lime juice and mix.

3Beat 1 egg white until stiff.

4Fold into milk mixture.

5Pour filling into pie crust.

6Beat remaining 3 egg whites, gradually adding sugar and cream of tartar, until stiff peaks form.

7Spread over top of filling.

8Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.

9Cool pie on a rack until room temperature.

10Serve or cover and refrigerate.
