- 2 cups pinto beans cooked
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
Directions

1Heat the lard in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until hot.

2Add the pinto beans and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3Mash the beans then stir in the remaining ingredients.

4Add oil to the skillet if necessary then cook and stir until a smooth paste forms, about 4 minutes.

5Garnish with shredded cheese, if desired and serve,
