Ingredients

  • 2 cups washed pinto beans
  • 8 cups water
  • 13 cup dried minced onion
  • 14 cup bacon grease
  • 1 large chicken bouillon cube (2 regular size)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 12 teaspoon salt, to taste

Directions

    Put beans, onion bacon grease and bouillon in crock pot.

    Add water.

    Cook about 10 hours stirring occasionally - till beans are soft and mushy.

    If needed add water.

    Mash beans with a potato masher and add milk and salt to taste.
