Ingredients
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 5 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Mix the warm water with yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar.

2Mix the hot water, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and margarine.

3Let cool, then add egg mixture in yeast.

4Add about 5 1/4 cups of flour.

5Stir to mix in flour.

6Turn out on floured board and knead about 10 minutes.

7Place dough in greased bowl.

8Cover and store in refrigerator until doubled in bulk or overnight.

9Punch down and shape into rolls.

10Let rise and bake at 400° until done.

11Keeps well 4 or 5 days.
