Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 c. flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in 1 cup water.

    Blend remaining ingredients: water, sugar, salt, oil, eggs and 2 cups flour.

    Add the yeast mixture, blend.

    Then add remaining flour one cup at a time. Knead until smooth and satiny.

    Shape either dinner rolls or buns for hamburgers; let rise 20 to 30 minutes and bake in 400° oven for 10 minutes.

    Remaining dough may be kept in airtight container for up to two weeks, you can use as needed.

    Refrigerated dough may take more time to rise after rolls are shaped.
