  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar together.

    Add egg and beat well. Add milk and vanilla.
  3. 3
    Add chopped pecans and dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. 4
    Shape in rolls and freeze.
  5. 5
    Slice thinly and bake on greased sheet at 425° for 10 minutes.
