  • cucumbers
  • 4 or 5 onions
  • green pepper
  • red pepper
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 1/4 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
  • water

Directions

    Pack cucumbers (sliced), onions (sliced) and sliced red and green peppers in gallon or 1/2 gallon jars.

    Boil the vinegar, sugar and spices with small amount of water.

    Let come to a hard boil and pour over vegetables.

    Cover jar and refrigerate.
  5. 5
    Keeps for months in refrigerator.
