- 4 c. sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- 1/3 c. canning salt
- 1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
- 6 to 8 medium cucumbers
- 6 to 8 medium onions
Directions

1Slice cucumbers into jars until half full.

2Then slice onions until about 2/3 full.

3Finish with cucumbers.

4Pack tight but don't crush.

5Pour cold syrup of vinegar, spice and sugar over to cover.

6Place lids on jars.

7Store in the refrigerator.

8These will last about 1 year in the refrigerator.

9Let stand 4 or 5 days before using.

10Tops do not have to seal.
