- 1 c. white sugar
- raw cucumbers, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 c. brown vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 tsp. turmeric
- 1/3 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and spices until everything is well dissolved.

2Do not heat.

3Slice the onion into a glass or plastic quart jar.

4Fill the jar with sliced, unpeeled cucumbers.

5Pour solution over cucumbers.

6Put on lid, but it is not necessary to seal.

7Keep in refrigerator.
