Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. active dry yeast, softened in warm water
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt (more or less)
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 7 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Directions

    Knead above ingredients into dough until smooth.

    Cover with damp cloth or wax paper and place in covered bowl in the refrigerator.

    (This dough may be stored 3 to 4 days.)
