- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shortening
- 3 eggs, beaten
- melted butter
Directions

1Scald milk and cool to lukewarm.

2Soften yeast in water. Combine flour, sugar and salt in large bowl.

3Cut in shortening until fine.

4Add warm milk, eggs and yeast.

5Beat until well blended.

6Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 1 week.

7Roll out on floured board as biscuits.

8Brush with melted butter; place on greased cookie sheet.

9Cover and let rise for 3 hours.

10Bake for 10 minutes at 400°.
