  • 6 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 beaten eggs

Directions

    Place flour and salt in large bowl.

    Cream sugar and margarine in separate bowl, then add boiling water.
  3. 3
    Melt yeast in warm water.
  4. 4
    Add cold water to bowl with sugar and margarine, then quickly add yeast mixture and eggs and beat until smooth.

    Pour that mixture into flour mixture and mix well with wooden spoon. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to one week.

    To make cloverleaf dinner rolls, pinch off three walnut sized pieces of dough and place in cupcake tin side by side.

    Bake 15 minutes at 400° or until golden.
