Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. water (warm)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 to 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. flour

Directions

    Mix yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and warm water.

    Set aside.

    Mix together margarine and boiling water.

    Stir until margarine is melted.

    Add remaining sugar.

    Pour into yeast mixture.

    Add eggs and salt and beat well.

    Put in 3 cups flour and beat until smooth with eggbeater.

    Add 3 more cups of flour.

    Stir well.

    Put in refrigerator overnight.

    Roll out, cut and put on greased cookie sheet.

    Let rise 2 hours or more.

    Bake at 425°.

    Dough may be kept in refrigerator several days and pinched off and used as needed.
