- 2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 7 c. sifted flour
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. soft shortening
Directions

1In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.

2Add sugar, salt and half the flour.

3Beat 2 minutes.

4Add egg and shortening. Gradually beat in the rest of the flour until smooth.

5Cover with damp cloth and place in refrigerator at least 4 hours or overnight.

6Cut into 6 parts.

7Roll each part out and cut into 8ths.
