- 1 cake yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine the first 3 ingredients and let stand for 1 hour.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Mix together.

4Dough will be soft.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6Roll out on slightly floured board. Cut into rolls.

7Place on well buttered pan.

8Let rise until double in bulk in warm place (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours).

9Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes until brown.

10Makes 3 dozen rolls.
