- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. warm water
- 8 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water; set aside.

2Cream together shortening, egg, salt and sugar, then add 2 cups warm water.

3Next, add yeast mixture.

4Add flour and mix well.

5Put in large greased bowl; let rise.

6Push down and put in refrigerator overnight.

7When ready to use, shape into rolls and let rise 3 hours.

8Bake at 425° for 8 to 10 minutes, until brown.

9Can be baked one half done, then kept in refrigerator or frozen until ready to use.
