Ingredients
- 2 cakes or pkg. yeast
- 2/3 c. melted shortening
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 c. milk, scalded
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 10 to 11 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast and dissolve sugar in water; add milk cooled to lukewarm, shortening, sugar and salt.

2Add eggs, beaten well.

3Add flour to make soft dough, let stand 10 minutes.

4Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.

5Place in greased bowl and cover; store in refrigerator.

6Shape rolls about 2 hours before serving.

7Let rise till double in bulk.

8Bake in hot oven 425° for 15-20 minutes.

9Punch down remaining dough return to refrigerator.

10This will keep for a week or use all same day.
