- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can large cling peaches
- 1 c. whipping cream
Directions

1Soften butter or margarine in large bowl.

2Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.

3Add butter and milk.

4Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

5Add eggs and vanilla.

6Beat 2 minutes more.

7Turn into a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

9Cool; split into 2 layers.

10Drain peaches. Whip the cream.

11Spread half of cream and peaches between layers. Spread other half of cream over top; arrange remaining peaches sunburst-fashion over cream.

12Makes 10 to 12 servings.
