Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Dry Beans (Pinto, Navy, Kidney, Great Northern, Limas)
  • 2 c. Onion (Chopped)
  • 3 pkgs. Ham Bouillon (Beef or Chicken will do)
  • 1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 Bay Leaves

Directions

    1. Wash and sort through beans. Soak overnight. Discard that water.

    Add fresh water to cover beans.

    2. Add all ingredients, bring to a boil, then reduce heat,

    cover, and cook slowly for 2-3 hours stirring often.

    Add water if needed.
