  • 1/2 ounce Benedictine (brandy-based herbal liqueur)
  • 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
  • 2 dashes of absinthe or Pernod
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lemon twist

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients except the twist and shake well.

    Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
