- 2/3 c. salad oil
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 tsp. each: salt, soda and vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. fresh rhubarb, diced
- 1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
Directions

1Mix in order given.

2Pour into greased loaf pans.

3Sprinkle top with mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon butter.

4Bake at 325° for 60 minutes.

5Do not overbake.
