  • 1-1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/2 c shortening
  • 1 c sour milk
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 1-1/2 c rhubarb, finely cut

Directions

    Mix brown sugar, sugar, shortening and egg together until creamy.

    Add flour, milk, salt, soda, vanilla and rhubarb.

    Pour mixture in 13x9 pan.

    Add topping (recipe to follow). Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
