  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 3 c. raw rhubarb, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

    Cream together sugar and butter; add eggs and milk.
