- 1/2 c. butter or shortening
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. rhubarb, finely cut
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream butter and brown sugar.

2Add egg and salt, mixing thoroughly.

3Stir in sour milk and vanilla.

4Sift flour with soda. Add to creamed mixture.

5Add rhubarb.

6Pour batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

7Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

8Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.
