- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 6 c. raw diced rhubarb
- sliced strawberries (if desired)
- 3/4 c. softened butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Mix into crumbs the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and butter. Press half the crumbs into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

2Cover crumbs with rhubarb.

3Add a layer of strawberries if desired. Combine sugar, cornstarch and water.

4Cook until clear in color. Then pour over rhubarb.

5Top with remaining crumbs.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
