  • 3 c. chopped rhubarb
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • dash of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Combine sugar, egg, 2 tablespoons flour, salt and 1 tablespoon butter.

    Stir in rhubarb and spread mixture in a greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

    Combine 4 tablespoons butter, 2/3 cup flour and brown sugar.

    Cut into crumbs and spread over rhubarb mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Serve warm with cold milk.
