Rhubarb Pie

  • 3 c. raw rhubarb
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs, separated

Directions

    Cut up raw rhubarb and pour boiling water over it.

    Let stand 5 minutes.

    Then drain off the water and add sugar, 3 tablespoons water, flour and egg yolks.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell, dot with butter and bake at 350° until done.

    Then whip egg whites and put on top and brown.
