  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. raw rhubarb
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1/4 c. butter

Directions

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Mix in milk.

    Stir in the rhubarb.

    Place in buttered baking dish and pour over it the sauce made by boiling together a few minutes the brown sugar, water and butter.

    Bake in a 375° oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
