  • 1 lb. regular rice
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can consomme
  • 1 can bouillon
  • 2 cans water

Directions

    Combine rice, margarine and onion in skillet.

    Brown, stirring constantly.

    Pour into long baking dish.

    Pour remaining ingredients over rice.

    Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.

    Stir every 20 minutes.

    May need to add more water.
