- 2 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 c. Minute instant brown rice
- 1 c. Birds Eye cut green beans, thawed
- 2 Tbsp. toasted sliced almonds
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh dill or 1/2 tsp. dill weed
Directions

1Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.

2Add onion; cook and stir until tender.

3Add broth, lemon juice and garlic powder; bring to a boil.

4Stir in rice.

5Return to boil; reduce heat to low.

6Cover; simmer for 5 minutes.

7Remove from heat. Stir in beans, almonds and dill.

8Cover; let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.

9Makes 3 cups or 6 servings.
