Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 to 2 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. instant brown rice
- 1 c. frozen cut green beans, thawed
- 2 Tbsp. toasted sliced almonds
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed
Directions

1Cook and stir onion in hot margarine until tender.

2Add broth, lemon juice and garlic powder.

3Bring to boil.

4Stir in rice. Return to boil.

5Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

6Stir in green beans, almonds and dill; cover. Let stand 5 minutes.

7Serves 6.
