Rice-Broccoli Casserole

  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 c. chopped onions
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz. Cheez Whiz
  • 1 pkg. chopped frozen broccoli
  • 1 can water chestnuts or slivered almonds

Directions

    Saute celery and onions with butter.

    Cook rice (do not use Minute rice) and drain.

    Add soup, Cheez Whiz, broccoli (thawed and uncooked) and water chestnuts.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until hot completely through.
