- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- flour
Directions

1Combine rice, eggs, vanilla and nutmeg.

2Mix well.

3Stir in dry ingredients.

4Add enough flour to make a dough that folds together.

5Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat (360°) and fry until golden brown.

6Drain on paper.

7Sprinkle or roll in sifted powdered sugar.

8Serve hot.
