- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup
- 1 small can mushrooms, drained and chopped (reserve juice to add with soup)
- 5 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. toasted, chopped almonds
- 2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Saute onion in melted butter until tender.

2Stir in mushroom soup and juice; mix well.

3Add cheese, mushrooms and almonds.

4Mix with rice and put in buttered casserole.

5Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until bubbly.
