  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • 3 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 1 c. chopped bell peppers
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • grated cheese

Directions

    Brown meat in frypan and drain excess fat. Add tomatoes, green peppers, onion, rice, bay leaf, salt and pepper.

    Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover with grated cheese before serving and while still hot.

    Can be reheated.
