- 1 (20 oz.) pkg. California Blend vegetables (frozen)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. Minute rice (uncooked)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 stick butter (dot on top before baking)
Directions

1Put 1 cup cheese in casserole and reserve 1/2 cup to melt on top during last 5 to 10 minutes.

2Mix all ingredients together; bake until bubbly, 30 to 45 minutes, at 325°.

3Use 12 x 7-inch or 13 x 9-inch pan.
