Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. rice (Minute or slow cook)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1/4 c. peppers, chopped
  • 1 lb. steak or hamburger

Directions

    Cook rice as directed on package.

    In a separate skillet, saute meat, onions and peppers in Worcestershire sauce.

    May need to add a small amount of water until meat is done.

    Stir occasionally.

    Cook on medium to start and then on low until done. Pour over rice.

    Top with picante sauce and shredded cheese. Serves 6.
